HW Reading Community focuses on promoting reading for pleasure through its schoolwide reading promotion strategy to broaden students’ reading exposure and nurture their reading interests and habits. Our philosophy is based on Lin Yutang's The Art of Reading which highlights the essence of reading and the importance of pleasure in one's reading experience. We strive to nurture happy readers by helping them discover the joy of reading.
Awaken interest in reading
Knowing that students nowadays have plenty of entertainment options which could be far more captivating than reading at first glance, we have endeavoured to rebrand reading at Hip Wo to capture (and hold) students' attention.
