Initiation Programme for the Newly Arrived Children crossing 15 years milestone
Our school was delegated by the Education Bureau (EDB) to organize full-time initiation programme for the newly-arrival children in 2003. Over the years, more than 2000 students benefitted from this programme. This program offers educational support services for immigrants from Mainland China, non-chinese speaking children and returnees. Students can adapt to life in Hong Kong by attending the program first. The objectives of the initiation program for newly arrived children include:
- enhancing students English and Chinese Language standard
- helping students adapt to life and personal development in Hong Kong
- providing students with local curriculum’s authentic learning experiences
