Language Centre
The Language Centre is a sought-after haven for many students to enjoy English-related materials while improving their language competence. Based on a weekly schedule, Language Centre Ambassadors organize and hold various activities:

- Pub Quiz
- Lunch Activities
English Week
Our first successful English Week was held in November 2020. The theme ‘Celebrating English 2020’ was well-received by students across forms. With a week-long of language activities during English lessons to interactive and language-rich activities outside of the classrooms, English Week was a huge success.
Some of the activities that garnered an overwhelming response included:
- After-school Cookery Workshops
- Lunch Game Booth Activities
- Comic-strip Writing Competition
- Spellomania Contest
L.E.A.P.
L.E.A.P. stands for Language Enhancement Ambassador Programme, which is an initiative to enhance students’ English proficiency through one-on-one guidance, self-learning curriculum and the summer English immersion programme in Nova Scotia, Canada. The overseas programme is temporarily replaced by local English activities due to the current pandemic situation.
English Summer Camp
Our L.E.A.P. students recently attended an English Camp organized by the E.F.C.C. Kwun Tong Church hoping to enjoy the stunning nature in Pak Heung while learning English in an interactive way. The 3-Day/2-Night summer camp was full to the brim with fun-filled outdoor activities conducted in English, from making beautiful bottle gardens to stargazing in the wilderness at night. Students reflected that not only was their confidence in speaking English enhanced but they also appreciated the chance to interact with professionals across various sectors. They are very much looking forward to other L.E.A.P. activities in the coming year.
