Hip Wo Triumphs in Sports

Future athletes abound in Delia Memorial School (Hip Wo). Our students excelled on the athletics track, on the basketball court, the hockey field and the cricket pitch.

The Interschool Athletic Meet saw our Hip Wo girls crowned champions. The boys garnered a second place. In the Joint School Athletic Meet the boys achieved a respectable third place.

In the Secondary School Boys Cricket League (Junior) our students found gold as well. Champs! Three students were selected for the Hong Kong Men’s Cricket Team: Ahmed Tanveer (3A) for the Hong Kong National Squad and Sharma Vishal (6C) and Mohammad Saad (5B) on the Hong Kong “A” Squad.

The Interport School Hockey Competition between Hong Kong and Macau featured six students from our school: Farman (3A), Ali (3A), Harpal (4C), Umaash (4B), Qismat (4A1), Narpal (5A). Half of the Hong Kong team from our school!
